Piszmy listy

Dear Sir!
I appeal to You for taking strong measures and determined action with regard to the latest events taking place in Tibet.
Please let me stress out that the occupation of Tibet by communistic China is illegal in terms of International Law. Further, the regime that is currently excersizing power in China is a direct ideological heir of stalinizm.
The People’s Republic of China breaks all but none conventions of International Law regarding Human Rights, Rights of Individual and Protection of Animals. The Tibetans are mass-tortured since the very first moments after they are arrested and the main purpose of these tortures is to force the detainees to sing anthems in worship of the communist regime.
This what I describe was constantly taking place since the occupation started up to now, but right now it is intensified together with army shooting to peacefull civils crowds in the streets, mass arrests and violation of individual’s dignity.
Also, please notice that, however I stress out the Tibetans, the victims of violation of human rights by the government of China are the Chinese as well - only to mention the government’s practices preventing overpopulation.
And such a country is the host for this year’s Olympic Games!
Please accept my apologies for disturbing your peace of mind and taking away your precious time for reading a letter like this one. I am polish, you see. Poland is the one and only one country in Europe, to which we all owe the fact that communism in Eastern Europe died away. We, people of Poland, can not accept for any more time the way international community handles chinese violence against Tibetans. You are inluencial person and the leader of a powerful country. Remember that without the enormous help of The United States of America Poland itself would have failed its battle against the evil system. So that is the reason and the way how I beg your help for Tibetans today.
The organisation of Olympic Games by The People’s Republic of China resembles the organisation of Olympic Games in fasist Germany, a recent disgrace. Are we again willing to defile the ideals of greece tradition?
I urge You to remember Adolf Hitler’s words: “Who remembers the Armenians?” which he spoke planning the genocide of european Jews. Today, considering the number of tibetan people murdered since China started the occupation we can be certain that this murder will be recognized as genocide - only let it not be too late for Tibet!!!
Let me add one more thing lastly. I’m just a simple person, inhabitant of Poland, nobody special. I’m rather not very active politicaly nor socialy nor am I a public person. I’m not idealistic either. Rather I am a normal, reasonable, honest working person, an average life enjoyer. Yet I could not stand silently to all the crime and violence going on in Tibet. I have written letters to His Excellency Mr. Zdzisław Rapacki, polish Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Geneva and to polish parliament, polish prime minister Donald Tusk and president Lech Kaczynski. I also wrote to major polish newspapers and have made my letters available for public on internet forums. This humble letter that I am honoured You are reading is a continuation of my actions. I discovered that there are many, many more simple people like me, who will not stay peacuful and quiet in the face of major violent infamy of the Olympic Torch.
I have received replies for my letters from polish government and the recent actions that were taken by polish representatives may have been inspired by the letters I sent. Therefore, please do not hesitate to take actions and inspire others to do the same. Much can be done if one dares to act!
Please accept my deepest and sincere regards to You and the Country that You represent,
Yours sincerely
Imię Nazwisko
